Campaign 360°, Interactive, Marketing Design

In a world often fragmented by violence and indifference, 'Sarang'—the Korean word for love— is frequently reduced to a mere commodity. Through the works of seven emerging artists, Sarang: Conversation on Love explores love’s power to restore what has been lost, inviting viewers to reconnect through this profound sentiment.

I translated the exhibition’s philosophy into tangible experiences through interactive design, multimedia storytelling, and brand identity.

Key Contributions:
  • Interactive Design: Created participatory installations to drive audience engagement.
  • Motion & Video: Produced atmospheric video content to enhance spatial immersion.
  • Merchandise: Conceptualized and produced branded goods and physical keepsakes.
  • Content Design: Developed cohesive digital and print assets for global promotion.

Inspiration
The core concept of this project is that "Love spreads like a wave." To visualize the intangible movement of emotion, I adopted a deep navy color palette that symbolizes the profound depth of love. The fluid wave patterns serve as a visual metaphor for the propagation of affection, starting from a single point and expanding into a vast, immersive experience

Experiential Design
As the lead exhibition planner for Sarang: Conversation on Love, I developed a targeted Instagram strategy to broaden its reach and impact. I produced a variety of content—including artist interviews, promotional videos, and compelling visuals—that captivated audiences and reinforced the exhibition’s core themes.

Through strategic curation and impactful digital storytelling, we established Sarang not just as an art show, but as a cross-cultural celebration. This initiative successfully bridged communities between New York and Seoul, highlighting love’s transformative power

Messaging Wall

I designed an interactive installation to maximize audience immersion. When visitors input their personal messages about love via digital devices, the text is transmitted in real-time to the main exhibition screen, completing a massive collaborative artwork. This experience transforms viewers from passive observers into active co-creators of the exhibition.

Content Design
This exhibition, fueled by the transformative "wave of love," seeks to showcase how love intensifies and changes as it is shared. It aims to provoke deep discussions about love's various meanings among its viewers.

1-1. What is love?
This video explores the question 'What is Love?' through interviews with various artists. Their responses are layered over visuals of undulating waves, symbolizing the way love spreads and resonates, accompanied by evocative voiceovers and typography.

1-2. This is not love
The second part of this project focuses on 'materialized love' that transcends verbal definitions. By asking artists to identify objects that symbolize love, we visualized the narratives embedded within those items. It invites viewers to redefine their own forms of love through the lens of someone else's private object.

1-3. Opening day
I developed a 'D-Day Countdown' series to build anticipation for the exhibition opening. This included milestone graphics featuring the gallery address, iPhone calendar-inspired designs, and promotional Reels utilizing message notification visuals for effective information delivery. Additionally, I produced a 'behind-the-scenes' video of the exhibition installation to provide a sense of immersion.

1-4. Sponsors
I created branded Instagram content featuring our sponsors. By blending professional business interviews with short-form video clips of them discussing 'love,' I developed an engaging social media strategy that promoted our partners while staying true to the exhibition's core narrative.

1-5. Interviews &  Sketch
I produced a 'Field Sketch' to capture the exhibition's live atmosphere, along with in-depth interviews featuring influencers and industry professionals. By weaving together expert aesthetic perspectives with public reactions, I archived the exhibition's multi-faceted impact. These videos served as a testament to the show's credibility and its broad social reach.
